HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities
• Provide Help Desk telephone assistance including evaluating, categorizing, and prioritizing, and first-level resolution of a broad range of user problems
• Respond to Help Desk e-mail requests, log issues, and follow up in a timely manner
• Coordinate user domain account management, remote network access, and user separation requests
• Provide direct resolution of limited scope issues relating to user accounts and various software/hardware problems
• Assist with anti-virus and security patch deployment and follow-up |
| Skills |
Requirements
• Minimum of two years of recent work experience in a computer support/customer service area
• Working knowledge of computer application programs including Microsoft Office suite
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Be a team player
Recommended Qualifications
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
• Two to four years of Help Desk technician work experience
• Ability to troubleshoot and recommend solutions
• Ability and desire to provide high levels of user support |
