Improve Your Employee Environment

Summer’s now here; what is your company doing to make your firm’s physical plant inviting? Are you doing anything to improve the environment for your employees?

Summer may be the time to relax and hit the beach, but it can also be a great time to offer your employees the chance to learn new skills and information. Consider offering professional goal setting opportunities as well as skills training in the form of seminars and workshops.

How do you let your employees know how things are doing at your firm? How do you communicate the big new client or the loss of a long-term client, etc.? Aim to work toward a communication plan that improves employee-to-supervisor communication, company-to-worker communication and increases the feedback your workers can provide managers and company executives.

Why not start a voluntary employee wellness program? Offer discounted or even memberships to nearby gyms, start a healthy eating policy for meetings and conferences, etc.
